The IYD National Youth Conference, a remarkable event, took place in the vibrant city of Islamabad on September 12, 2023. This prestigious gathering was skillfully arranged by ASK Development's CSR initiative, "Apne Bal Peh," in collaboration with the renowned International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).
The conference was scheduled with two enlightening sessions on the agenda. The first session delved into the crucial topics of "Diversity and Inclusion," urging attendees to embrace differences and foster a more inclusive society. The second session, titled "Knowledge Development and Work Readiness," aimed to equip students with the necessary skills and strategies to excel in their personal and professional lives. The sessions were further enhanced by a panel of seasoned experts, who shared their valuable insights and engaged in thought-provoking discussions. It was an empowering event that aimed to mold future leaders, inspiring them to create a lasting positive impact on the society. ABP recognized and rewarded six exceptional students with cash prizes and certificates for their outstanding participation in the IYD Essay Writing Competition.

Arshad Akif, CEO, of ASK Development, said in his speech that, this conference is part of our CSR initiative to empower youth economically to make their future bright. ASK has been working for the skill development of youth since 2007 and thousands of students have benefited from its training programs. Our conference is to honor the UN’s IYD (International Youth Day) resolution and to promote the youth globally, he added.
